We have spent an enjoyable week in this lovely cosy and comfortable cottage. We loved the garden and the village and will yearn to return. We’ve fed well and enjoyed meals at the pub, explored the byways of Swaledale and Wenslydale with our friends and visited Darlington to see the brick statue of Malard and Shilton to admire the locomotive museum.

We spent a happy and comfortable week at the cottage, mainly blessed with lovely warm and sunny weather. The surrounding countryside of the Yorkshire Dales is breathtakingly beautiful and we certainly hope to spend more time here in the future in the area.

We have had two lovely weeks, here in Catterick. Family of 5 from Norway, grandparents, parents and child, the nature buildings, people, everything is fantastic in Yorkshire. We have been before, and we surely will come back. The cottage is excellent in all means. The only minus has been the weather. Much wind, temp between 10 - 15oC some rain and very little sun. No use of the beautiful garden, but all in all a very good holiday.

Fantastic cottage, fantastic weather, what more can we say. A day spent in the village, having drinks in the sun, followed by a day out to Hazelbrown farm which was enjoyed by all. We even managed to see a few lambs being born. We will be back soon.

This is fantastic, we couldn’t be staying at a nicer or better equipped cottage. Wish we were here for longer, but have got to move on. A big thank you from us all.

The spaciousness of the cottage was a very pleasant surprise and to find it so comprehensively equipped was a bonus. We have been very comfortable and leave with reluctance.

Great cottage, lovely mature garden. Although we didn’t visit all the places we would of liked. Masham, Leyburn, Richmond, Ripley Castle and Harrogate, are all worth a visit. We will be back in future to discover what we have missed this time.

Lovely relaxing and contented holiday. Super facilities locally and superb accommodation. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Forbidden Corner, a must for every visitor and a fun day out. Richmond is a historic and interesting town and Catterick village is a pretty and welcoming place.

We have enjoyed a wonderful week in this lovely cottage with its lovely well maintained garden, in spite of our car problem. Neighbours so kind with offer of their car & lift to fetch ours. Weather was good hope to come back.
